It depends on the volume of the tank itself and input of the solids to the tank. The other factor that can influence the frequency of clearing the tank is depending on the rate of usage and the system characteristic of the septic tank itself. Most of the health expert suggests that the tank should be emptied at required intervals, while the rest suggest that it is determined by the inspector. In other cases, the septic tank might be required to be pumped every year. The other septic tank might also be required to be pumped in every 10 to 20 years. In fact, there is no exact rule and regulation on how often a septic tank should be pumped.

These certain chemicals may damage the components of the septic tank. The big and hard flood can also cause the problem to the septic tank. It is because the operation of the tank will be disturbed by too much water that overflows to the area of the septic tank. That is why the condition of the septic tank should be considered as priority since the broken septic tank can cause so many health and air problem.
